FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

2004 Mile of Quarters

2004 Mile of Quarters - Saturday, October 16th

The Community Health Center Foundation and the OMNOVA Solutions Foundation are proud to host the 13th Annual Mile of Quarters fundraiser to be held on Saturday, October 16, 2004, at Chapel Hill Mall. The proceeds from this event will allow the Community Health Center to continue providing strong and effective drug and alcohol prevention and education programs, like Project PANDA, for our youth in Summit County.

The Mile of Quarters is an exciting, fun-filled event for families, including many activities for children of all ages and a special visit by Scooby Doo in conjunction with Cleveland’s WB.

Beginning in July, you can show your support of the 2004 Mile of Quarters by donating $1 to our Piggy Bank Campaign. The pink piggy banks will be sold at all FirstMerit Bank locations in and around Summit County. When you buy a pink piggy you will also be entered into our raffle drawing for a $250 Savings Bond from FirstMerit Bank!

The tremendous community support we have received in the past has enabled the Community Health Center to take an additional step in improving their adolescent substance abuse prevention programs – stopping drug and alcohol abuse before it starts.
