RELEASE
OCA ANNOUNCES WALK'N RALLY
IN COLUMBUS - SEPTEMBER 14
Show your support for National Recovery Month by participating in the Walk n’ Rally in Columbus on September 14, 2006.
Held in conjunction with the Rally for Recovery sponsored by ODADAS on the Statehouse lawn, this year’s celebration will include a Walk for Recovery sponsored by Ohio Citizen Advocates (OCA), as yet another way to spotlight the reality of recovery.
We hope you will join us in Columbus on September 14th and that you will encourage your friends, family and co-workers to support your walk through a pledge of any amount.
The proceeds from the Walk for Recovery will go to OCA to underwrite the costs of the event and to support our ongoing work to eliminate stigma and advocate for prevention and treatment. For questions, please contact Donna Conley at 1-888-229-1285 or at advocate@oca-ohio.org.
