People Who Care Join Voices!

Free Stigma Reduction through Advocacy Training offered by OCA

You work in the field of substance abuse and mental health service because you want to help people, because you care. You are an advocate for those in need. If you don’t speak out, who will? Learn how you can become an advocate to fight the stigma that keeps so many people from recovery. You can add one more voice to those already building strength in numbers.

The mission of Ohio Citizen Advocates for Chemical Dependency Prevention and Treatment is to eliminate the stigma and discrimination associated with alcohol and other drug addiction by: educating the public that alcohol and other drug addiction is a preventable, treatable medical illness; reducing barriers to treatment; and advocating for a system of care that supports a continuum of effective alcohol and other drug services.

Contact Ohio Citizen Advocates for information about our free advocacy training. People who care join voices and they will be heard!
