The Ohio Multi-County Development Corp. is dedicated to meeting the housing needs of low and moderate income persons in Carroll, Cuyahoga, Holmes, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties

The OMCDC can act as a developer, sponsor and/or owner of housing and business projects.

The types of housing activities that the OMCDC is involved in include, but are not limited to:

• Property acquisition
• Housing rehabilitation
• Rental and owner-occupied new construction
• Home ownership opportunities and supportive services

In the future, the OMCDC plans to be involved with economic development projects and activities. These activities will be designed to expand economic opportunities for local businesses and local people in need, through a variety of services including, but not limited to:

• Business training
• Consulting
• Direct business lending and/or developing a micro-enterprise incubator
• Community organizing
• Real estate development
