What is the Mile of
Quarters, anyway?!
The Mile of Quarters is an event benefiting the Community Health Center
(CHC). At CHC, we believe that the best way to prevent addiction is to
educate parents and kids about the effects of drug and alcohol abuse,
and the Mile of Quarters promotes this important family issue. All
donations received at this event stay in Summit County and are used to
educate children about the effects of drug and alcohol abuse.
CHC has made a commitment to promote programs that provide families with
the necessary information and skills for dealing with the problems
associated with substance abuse. The proceeds from the Mile of Quarters
will be used to supplement programs such as:
Project PANDA,
Adolescent Counseling Services and other prevention education in our
community.
