IT Services provides support to all Community
Health Center departments. Our customers are fellow staff
members. We support the technical needs of the organization
as a whole as well as to the individual staff members' technology
requirements.
To define "technology systems," they range from
our telephone systems, voice mail system, Internet and Intranet,
websites, stand alone personal computers, workstations connected
through our NT network, and terminals connected to our UNIX
mainframe computer system. In addition, IT Services, with
the cooperation of executive management, directors, and line
staff develops and supports this web site.
IT Services is a strong "behind the scenes" support
department whose primary objective is to maintain a stable
technical operating environment. This affords staff the ability
to more efficiently conduct routine business operations. Technology
systems facilitate better staff efficiency thus allowing greater
employee productivity. This translates into better patient
service.
