That several treatment strategies may be necessary for recovery, so we offer individual,
family and group counseling, primary healthcare, medical detoxification, residential
treatment and educational seminars.
That family participation is a necessary part of recovery for reintegration into a
normal, healthy life-style. Therefore, we have developed strong family components in
our programming.
That the residents of Summit County have needs other than those dealing with
addiction. Therefore, we offer programs that address job skills training, vocational
assistance, assistance with housing, case management services and childcare.
That active involvement in self-help groups is a necessary adjunct to professional
treatment services.
That adolescent chemical dependency requires mobilization of families, school
personnel and other providers toward the development of appropriate, accessible
services for children.
That we have a responsibility in Summit County to provide basic treatment services
to all of those in need, regardless of the ability to pay. Therefore, we seek the most
cost effective, yet cost efficient, methods of providing treatment.

The Community Health Center is committed to enhancing the quality of life by providing a
diverse, holistic, client-centered continuum of care. Our innovative and effective services
include addiction treatment, behavioral and primary healthcare, wellness, prevention and
housing programs that are responsive to the needs of the community.
In total well-being and, therefore, we provide quality medical treatment, laboratory
services and diagnostic assessments which are integrated into our treatment
regimens.
That chemical dependency is a progressive, fatal illness that is highly treatable. We encourage early intervention and we are committed to the provision of quality, affordable treatment and prevention services.
