Housing Programs

Brambling Path

Brambling Path consists of 9 one-bedroom units for 9 recovering persons with a dual diagnosis (SAMI). A wide variety of educational, social and health services will be integrated into this effort.

The project will target individuals making between 35% or less of the AMI. This housing development will fill a critical gap in Summit County for low income homeless men and women, serving as the next step for those leaving a transitional housing program, Section 8 housing or for those leaving a transitional housing program or Section 8 housing. CHC will collaborate with area employers identified as partners in welfare reform, and established community self-sufficiency programs such as H.M. Life Opportunity Services, Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority and the Summit County Jobs and Family Services Department to locate participants. Funds from Summit County Department of Development will be used to purchase property and cover construction cost.

To coordinate application, contact Ohio Multi-County Development Corporation Housing Coordinator.
