FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Announcing the 2009 Mile of Quarters Fundraiser - A FREE Family Event!
October 23 and 24 at Barnes and Noble Booksellers in Bath

The 2009 Mile of Quarters will be held on October 23 and 24 at Barnes and Noble Booksellers in Bath. This free family event will draw a tremendous audience of all ages. Come enjoy kids’ activities including face painting, arts & crafts and a trick or treat parade on both days!

Clifford the Big Red Dog will be appearing along with several community leaders on our Story Time Stage on Friday and Saturday. Guests include: Bob Kulinski, president of the United Way of Summit County and Principal Marie Reichert from Our Lady of the Elms.

All children in attendance can get their photo taken with Clifford for free and enjoy milk and cookies during story time. Special Clifford all-natural juice boxes for the Mile of Quarters will be provided by Hansen’s Junior Juice (www.drinkjuniorjuice.com).

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Community Health Center's continuing quality drug prevention and education programs for children and adolescents, such as Project PANDA. For more information about the Mile of Quarters and a full schedule of events, please visit our website at www.commhealthcenter.org/foundation or call (330) 315-3770.
