Announcing a Press Conference
Friday, August 19, 2005 at 10:00 a.m.
and the 2005 Indoor Open Fundraiser
August 19th and 20th
at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Fairlawn
On Friday, August 19, the Community Health Center Foundation will be holding a press conference at 10:00 a.m. with a continental breakfast at Barnes and Noble Booksellers in Fairlawn.
Summit County Sheriff Drew Alexander and Ohio State Senator Kevin Coughlin will be the keynote speakers.
The press conference will be the official kick-off to our 12th annual Indoor Open Fundraiser at Barnes and Noble Booksellers on August 19th and 20th.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the Community Health Center’s continuing quality drug prevention and education programs for children and adolescents, such as PANDA.
The 2005 Indoor Open is an exciting family event that will draw a tremendous audience of all ages. The event consists of a 9-hole miniature golf course where children and adults
are invited to play free of charge, with face painting and other free activities.
98.1 WKDD will be at the Indoor Open on Friday and the Summit County Sheriff’s Office
will also be there on Saturday with free kids’ fingerprinting.
Clifford the Big Red Dog will be appearing along with several community leaders on our Story Time Stage. Guests readers include; Angela, from the Morning
Show on 98.1 WKDD; Diana Zaleski, Summit County Clerk of Courts; Connie Humble, Executive Director of Children
Services Board; Judge Allison McCarthy; Mayor Bill Roth of Fairlawn; Judge Edna Boyle; and Judge Kathy Frazzini-Culver.
